Bluenest and The Salvation Army Join Forces for Back-to-School Event in Homestead
Bluenest teamed up with The Salvation Army in Homestead to hand out roughly 250 filled backpacks and send local students into the new school year ready.
On Saturday, August 8, Bluenest and The Salvation Army came together in Homestead for the Salvation Army’s second annual Back-to-School Drive, helping local families prepare for the new school year.
Approximately 250 backpacks filled with school supplies were distributed to students across Homestead and surrounding communities. Families also enjoyed free ice cream, making the event a fun and meaningful day for children and parents alike.
